Definitions
JAM: A collaborative endeavor among users to achieve a shared project goal. For instance, game developers, sound designers, visual artists, UX designers, etc., join forces to create a game or a specific game component.
JAM reward: The quantity of tokens specified by the JAM initiator (or raised by the community) that the JAM winner receives upon the successful conclusion of the round.
Requester Stake: The token amount pledged by the JAM initiator (in addition to the JAM reward) to ensure the smooth and fair progression of the voting process.
Community Pool: The repository where platform fees and tokens from the challenge process are accumulated. The community decides its management, initially with a smaller share, which progressively increases as the system becomes more decentralized.
Requester: An individual or group initiating a JAM.
Voter: An individual who casts their vote for the JAM outcome.
Challenger: An individual or group who applies for the request, submits a product, and contests the voting result.
Applicant: Also known as a "freelancer," an individual or group applying for a request.
